So Long Binkies

When Mirra was born, I was determined to have her off of her binkies around her first birthday. But around her first birthday she was teething and my nerves could not have withstood the additional crying that would accompany bink banishment. And so that same story continued for more than another year. Now Mirra has all but one molar so I decided it was time.

Two weeks ago we told Mirra she was a big girl and she needed to ship her binks to babies who needed them. So we searched the house and put them all in a box.

The transition has gone well. She has had little trouble sleeping without her pacifier. We're really proud of her and a little surprised that it wasn't more of a challenge. So I question...does that mean that potty training will be an even greater challenge than I anticipate?
