At The Races

We have watched a lot of racing since summer vacation started. Thursday we went to sprint car races with my parents. We saw a car flip over the wall. Thankfully the driver was OK. We can't say that about the green Buick he landed on.

Friday Drew raced his quarter midget. He is learning a lot and doing great!

Then Saturday we visited some race shops in the area. Some small and some astoundingly large. Drew says that Andy needs to drive a sprint car. He says he will ask Santa to bring one. We spent the evening at a midget race with Andy's brothers, Donnie and Terry. A really great time with family.

Drew's Kindergarten Graduation

The Kindergarten classes put on a great show. They sang a few songs with great enthusiasm. Drew had us smiling the whole time he was being a huge ham! Then all the kids got a diploma that they could READ. It still amazes us how much these little kids are reading. A testament to great teaching in preschool and kindergarten.

Drew has a field day tomorrow...something that involves the 100 water balloons I filled up tonight (grin). Mirra and I will join in the fun for the morning. Then Drew will officially become a first grader!
