School

I volunteer at my kids' school one day each week.  I spend the morning in Mirra's kindergarten class and the afternoon with Drew's third grade class.  I always get a hug or two and get to hear some witty remarks.  At third grade lunch when "Tag.  No tag backs," came around to me I told them that I am immune to tag because I have a no-tag force field around me.  When one of the boys tried to use my line, Drew said "I can use my super breath to blow your force field away."  I love that boy and his friends!

This year the school got this big, shiny, new printer.  The problem is that in four weeks I have yet to see it actually work properly.  I walked in last week and this sign was taped to it.  Hilarious!

Drew's teacher asked me to do some copies today but said the paper would not run through the big printer.  I told her that I don't play with Bob Marley anyway.
This is my first bulletin board of the year.  To be clear, I did not make the map of the U.S.  But, this was a fun project and I can't wait to see all the Flat Stanleys come back and hang out on the wall.

In case I don't say it enough, I LOVE my children's teachers!  Their dedication to these kids inspires me every time I see them.  They communicate with me all the time and I am a real pain in the butt.   I just love knowing that my kids are in good hands even when they are not in mine.

I have yet to use the beast at our school and we are eight weeks in! Haha. I have no idea how it works and I'm not sure I will ever find out!

The copier that works best is the smallest one at our school. It's in a corner where no one notices it so it doesn't get used as much.
