Easter

We hope you all had a nice Easter. Ours was good. We drove to Peoria Friday. We were all still feeling a bit rough. Andy joked that if we timed it right we could make music with the coughing.

We arrived to discover that my suitcase had not made it in the car. Andy's mom smiles at me and says "does that mean we get to go shopping?". Why yes, yes it does. So off we went to Kohl's.

Saturday we colored eggs with Cassidy (our great niece). Drew wrote his name on each one of his and dipped them in the colors. He also discovered that they were fun to break open and squish. Must be a boy thing. Most of the Miles family gathered at my mother-in-law's for pizza that night. Drew had a blast with Jade and his cousins, Cassidy, Ashley, and Trisha. Mirra made the rounds but seemed especially fond of Uncle Denny. I think the feeling is mutual.

Sunday we went to Denny and Barb's for a feast and the kids hunted eggs. It was nice to see Barb's family and Charissa and Dan (who we had missed the night before). After dinner we headed back home. Mirra had been staying awake at night and we thought we might have better luck getting her to sleep in her own bed. It worked. Two nights in a row and not a peep from her. Andy and I are both very happy about that.
